  • Inform retailer if more inventory is needed in clubs/in DC’s/ on orders.
  • Determine timeframe for initial inventory load in to prepare for events for both retailer and manufacturer.
  • Monitor inventory during promotional events

    • Determine inventory needs based on increased unit velocity to prepare both the retailer and the manufacturer.

    • Update marketing accrual based on cost of event 
    • Determine lift of event and compare it to pre-promotion projections.
    • Determine if inventory levels were sufficient or excessive to better prepare for future events.
